  • Is it good to pay down all credit cards to $0 balance and will they still be open? How often are things reported to credit bureaus? Would this improve me score? Or would I still need to use them?

  • Both. I have student loan debt which I’m paying extra on but also value the power of compound interest. Why waste my 20s by not investing?

  • I did the baby steps for a whole year. I paid off 7 credit cards such as Walmart, Kay’s, Credit one, etc. They were all under $1,000. Then I fell off the wagon. We decided to try the avalanche method. Took our a low interest loan on a car to pay off car with the highest interest. I have paid off cards of my 10. I shut down almost all of them. Should I continue on the avalanche?
