  • I broke up with them in July , especially when they sent the price up! I use to be on student prime , but I can wait for my products !

  • Especially living in a city, i find no need for amazon prime. If something is needed on an urgent level, chances are i can walk down the street to any one of 5 major markets or stores, and find it. I use amazon primarily for textbooks, so there is no need for a prime account. I cancelled mine after the student trial ended

  • Did it over a year ago for a multitude of reasons, the subscription fee was a small part of it.

  • I wish more people would shop local ! so many things on Amazon come from China and I prefer to support the United States! Plus we’re already seeing major companies that have been in business for 40-50 years that are closing down because the online business has killed them! eventually there won’t be brick-and-mortar stores and people won’t know what to do when we have a crisis cuz there won’t be brick and mortar stores to buy things! Just saying…

  • Amazon makes life so much easier though. One stop shopping. Also I like the music and movies. It is worth it to me but it might not be to everyone and I can understand that. I 😊

  • Walmart on line has everything you need. I gave up amazon 2 years ago. Never looked back.

  • Two day shipping isn’t the only reason to have prime. Plus Walmart and Target don’t have near the level of good merchandise.

  • I love all those extra services with Prime; however, I’m finding that shopping with my Target card in their app is super convenient because of the free shipping. Same low prices as in the store, but shipped to my house for free. Say I realize that I’m out of deoderant. I just whip out my Target app, add it to my basket and either buy it right then and there or continue to accumulate random need-to-buy things. (I’ll never give up my prime though–too many other great benefits.)

  • I’m definitely not happy about the huge bump in fees, but, I do stream the music every day and take full advantage of the Prime Video service as well.

  • It’s only worth now it if you use the shipping benefits but in conjunction with using the video, music, device storage etc. Shipping is changing tho. You have to use all the benefits ( most of which people don’t even know they have.) Discl. I work for them.

  • I was considering it, because I realize that the shipping isn’t free if I have to pay $119/year to get it. However, I do use PrimeVideo often, because I don’t have a TV right now.

  • When you have prime it tempts you to shop. So I totally agree. If we want to be wealthy…it’s the little bills that add up that stop us from achieving it. Just wait the extra free days…anticipation makes it that much sweeter…can anyone hear me in the back of the chat room?
