  • I find that budgeting is like dieting. It’s a short term, unsustainable fix. The key to building extra cash permanently is to change how you live. Just like you have to learn to live a new way ever day to maintain a healthy weight, you must learn to live a new way to balance your financials. I haven’t looked at a budget in a decade. I just make way more money than I need to live on.
